Upcoming Statutory Amnesty for Maryland
MARYLAND – From September 1, 2015 through October 30, 2015, the state will have a statutory amnesty. This will include income (corporate & personal), sales, use, withholding, admissions and amusement taxes. Applicable years will be tax liabilities due as of December 31, 2014. Penalty will be waived and 50% of interest will be waived. It will not be open to taxpayers who have previously participated in a Maryland tax amnesty between 1999 and 2014.
