Team DDH delivered over 650 items to Paul Quinn College for the 9th Annual Suit Drive
DDH hosts an Annual Suit Drive to collect both men’s and women’s professional and business casual clothing, accessories, and shoes to help those in need. This year DDH with the help of our community partners exceeded our goals and had a 50% increase over last years total. Our community partners for 2019 were GS Wealth Management, Duffee+Eitzen, and Stephens Little.

Our beneficiary for 2019, Paul Quinn College, is the oldest historically black college west of the Mississippi River and the nation’s first urban work college. Today, the College is recognized as one of the most innovative colleges in the country and proudly educates students of all races and socio-economic backgrounds. Under the banner of “WE over Me” – the needs of a community supersede the wants of an individual. Paul Quinn College requires all students to dress in business casual attire when on campus. The We Over Me Closet helps meet the needs of students with clothing insecurities. Our support enables those students lacking funds to have the proper attire to attend school with dignity and pride.
